# How to Brief an AI Video Project — a prompting skill

## Hard rules
1. Discovery before credits — ask who it's for, what must change, sound state, length, and what "done" looks like.
2. Pick a known framework (3-act / 5-shot / Hook-Story-Offer) — don't invent structure from scratch.
3. Fill a creative brief and confirm it before generating.
4. Review every prompt against a rubric before spend.
5. If someone has no storyline, offer a named menu of directions — not one more open question.
6. Multi-video campaigns need a three-layer model (world, characters, per-spot beats).
7. Dialogue rows need verbatim Exact line + Status (LOCKED vs RECOMMENDATION). Concept bullets are not canon.
8. Maintain a name glossary for ambiguous client labels before acting.
9. Deliverables gate: cutdowns + captions + per-surface loudness before CLOSE — hero master alone ≠ done.

## Frameworks (generic)
- A: 3-act short
- B: 5-shot performance
- C: Hook-Story-Offer
