Cost calculator

What does AI video actually cost?

Most tools hide it. Ekly publishes per-model, per-second pricing — so you can price a clip before you make it. Pick a model, quality, and length below and see the real number.

What a real clip costs

AI video is priced by the second, and the model and resolution set the rate. A fast, low-resolution draft costs a few cents; a polished 1080p clip costs more; 4K costs the most — and you only pay those rates when you actually render at that quality. On paid plans, a daily batch of free bonus credits covers a good share of everyday generation before your plan balance is touched. Use the calculator to price your exact clip.

How credits map to dollars

Each paid plan publishes a credit-to-dollar rate on the pricing page. The calculator below uses the best published rate so you can see a floor on what a clip costs in money — then check your plan for the exact rate you’ll pay.

Spend order & carry-forward

Spend the free batch first. At month end, unused paid credits move forward — plan up to 50%, top-ups in full. The daily free batch does not.

Cost questions

How much does an AI video clip cost?
It’s priced by the second, and the model and resolution set the rate — from a few cents for a low-resolution draft up to 4K. Use the calculator above to price your exact clip; the numbers come straight from Ekly’s published per-model rates.
Why is AI video priced in credits?
Credits are one balance you can spend across every model. Each plan has a credit-to-dollar rate published on the pricing page, so a clip’s credit cost converts directly to money.
Is there a free way to try it?
No. The Free plan requires no card but includes no monthly credits; generating video requires credits from a paid plan.
What’s the cheapest way to generate?
Draft at a lower resolution first, then only spend more when a clip is worth finishing at 1080p or 4K. On paid plans the daily free bonus covers a lot of routine generation.
