Credits & billing
- How do Ekly credits work?
- One balance, three buckets. Every paid plan includes monthly plan credits plus a daily free bonus. Bonus credits are spent first, then plan credits, then optional top-ups. You only spend what a generation actually uses.
- What are rolling (daily bonus) credits?
- A free batch that lands every day on paid plans. They’re always spent before your plan balance, so regular creators often cover most of a day’s work without touching plan credits. They reset daily and don’t stack if unclaimed.
- Which models can I use with daily bonus credits?
- All of them. Daily rolling credits work across the entire model catalog — there’s no restricted subset.
- What happens to unused monthly credits?
- 50% of your unused monthly plan credits roll over to your wallet, valid for one year. Top-up credits carry over in full. Daily bonus credits reset each day and don’t roll over.
- Can I get a discount on individual models?
- Yes — per-model discounts are available. Use Contact us to ask about a specific model.
Plans & teams
- What do I get on the free plan?
- No monthly credits and no card required. Upgrade to a paid plan to receive generation credits and unlock credit top-ups.
- Is there seat-based pricing for teams?
- No. Every Ekly account is a team account — invite all your teammates without seat-based price hikes. Billing is credit-based, so you pay for what you generate, not per user.
- Do you offer enterprise or custom pricing?
- Yes, when self-serve plans don’t fit. Custom rate limits, credit volume, or added features are agreed case by case — use Contact us on the pricing page.
- Can I change or cancel my plan?
- Yes — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime.
- Can I use my existing model subscriptions?
- Yes, through the Partner Program. Bring the model subscriptions you already pay for, or use Ekly's instead — either way, you pay one minimal platform fee, not a markup on every generation. See the Partner Program
Models & generation
- How many models does Ekly have?
- 25+ generation models from many providers — video, image, voice, and music — under one plan and one credit balance. The full list lives on the models pages.
- Can I switch models mid-project?
- Yes. Every model shares one credit balance and one timeline, so you can pick the best model per shot without moving your project.
- Can I edit the video after generating?
- Yes. A generated clip lands on a real multi-track timeline — keyframes, curves, frame-accurate trims, captions, and scoring — and you can also edit by chat.
- What happens if a generation fails?
- Failed generations are refunded. You only pay for what actually lands.
Getting started
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. You can create a Free account without a card, but it includes no monthly credits.
- Do I need editing skills?
- No. You can describe what you want in plain language and let the AI produce and edit it, or use the full timeline when you want fine control.
- Can I use Ekly from Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor?
- Yes, on paid plans. Ekly runs a remote MCP server, so you can generate and search your images, video, and audio right from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any other MCP-compatible agent — no API key, just sign in with your Ekly account. See the step-by-step setup guide
